Snapchat rolls out new tools to attract creators and boost brand deals

Snapchat is stepping up its game to woo creators and help them secure paid brand deals. At the Snap Partner Summit, Brooke Berry, head of creator development, unveiled six new features aimed at making Snapchat more creator-friendly.

New features to engage fans and brands: Creators can now reply to fan comments on their stories using video or photo responses, similar to Instagram and TikTok. The platform is also offering a simpler profile design, making it easier to switch between private and public profiles. Creators can pin their favorite content to the top of their profiles and access new templates to make posting faster and more engaging.

Snap Star Collab Studio: In a big move for brand deals, Snapchat is giving creators in the Snap Star Collab Studio more control over their data. Creators can now share engagement and demographic metrics directly with brands to land sponsorships, making it easier for brands to find the right partners.

Why creators are flocking to Snapchat: Berry says the platform’s appeal lies in its monetization programs. "Creators go deeper on Snapchat because the money’s there,” she told BI, highlighting that some influencers have made tens of thousands of dollars through the platform. Snap is doubling down on this, offering tools to help creators maximize their earnings while keeping the app user-friendly.

With these new features, Snapchat aims to make itself a go-to for creators looking to grow their brand and make money through partnerships.

Patreon rolls out tools to automate admin work and boost creator earnings

Patreon just made it easier for creators to turn free followers into paying subscribers with its new Autopilot feature. This tool automatically targets free members most likely to upgrade by offering them discounts, boosting conversions by 19% during testing. It can also be used to offer discounts in creator shops.

The platform also introduced an Explore tab to help fans discover new creators, based on their existing subscriptions. While this move feels a little like the algorithmic feeds Patreon once criticized, creators still have the option to recommend other pages directly to their followers.

Another big update is the option for fans to make one-time purchases of individual posts, rather than committing to monthly memberships. This feature has already led to a 20% earnings boost for some creators, making it easier to attract new fans without the pressure of long-term subscriptions.

With these updates, Patreon is giving creators more ways to grow their audiences and make money, while keeping the admin work to a minimum.

How OnlyFans creators are using AI to boost their earnings

OnlyFans creators are leading the way in using AI to transform the creator economy. By integrating AI tools, these creators are maximizing their efficiency, engaging with fans at scale, and significantly boosting their revenue.

Yuval, CEO of SuperCreator, an AI tool provider for OnlyFans creators, shared how some creators have quadrupled their earnings by using AI. “We’ve seen creators go from $10,000 a month to $40,000 just by automating fan interactions and optimizing content promotion.”

Here’s how creators are doing it:

  1. Personalized conversations: AI allows creators to keep up individualized chats with thousands of fans at once.

  2. Smarter content scheduling: AI helps creators post at the right times to reach more fans.

  3. Deep audience insights: AI analyzes fan behavior, helping creators fine-tune their strategies and pricing.

Some creators have doubled their fan base and revenue simply by letting AI handle routine tasks, giving them more time to focus on creating.

For creators who are hesitant to try AI, Yuval has one piece of advice: "Just be yourself. AI helps bring your vision to life without needing tech expertise. It’s all about enhancing what you already do best."

As they continue to push boundaries with AI, OnlyFans creators are setting a new standard for how creators across all platforms can use tech to level up their business.
